Hyundai was a late entrant into the EV market. The fully electric Ioniq was available in 2021. However, hybrid Konas have been available for years. The Ioniq was amongst the first tribrid vehicles in the US. Tribrid meant the engine could be fully gas, hybrid, and also fully EV. Hyundai is sure to be a success in the EV market due its reputation as one of the most reliable vehicles in the domestic market. Z Sport has serviced Hyundais since their introduction in the 1980s. Todays Hyundai is much different and includes not only Korean and Japanese parts but also German.
